As a consequence of intensifying global competition in every field, the globalization process affecting all local firms, technological developments increasing product differentiation, and rising consumer awareness, marketing has emerged as the most critical management function for companies.
The objective of the Marketing Associate Degree Program is to offer specialized education in areas such as brand management, services marketing, pricing, distribution channels, marketing communication, marketing research, and international marketing to students who already possess a foundation in general business and management knowledge. Students of the program also receive an adequate level of education in general business administration, fundamental management, economics, and computer applications.
Furthermore, starting from the first year, students acquire core foreign language competence by selecting either English or German. Subsequently, in the second year, they take professional foreign language courses. In this way, the Manavgat Vocational School Marketing Program aims to train educated, knowledgeable, competitive, innovative marketing professionals with advanced foreign language skills who will succeed in local and global markets amidst increasing global competition.
In addition, based on the necessity for all modern corporate cultures to be marketing-oriented, the command of marketing terminology among employees across all departments of an enterprise has gained crucial importance. With this philosophy and workers who have gained expertise in marketing, enterprises secure a more robust position within global competition.
Our marketing program students receive an education where they will gain knowledge in conducting qualified marketing research, preparing marketing plans, creating brand identity, managing brands, developing and managing products, as well as innovations in the retail sector, consumer behavior, advertising, sales management, public relations, and corporate communications.
Marketing activities can be carried out anywhere, at any time, for all goods, services, and ideas. Therefore, the field of marketing is associated with every imaginable sector. Marketing activities are intensively executed in various sectors such as medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, food products, consumer durables, cleaning products, textiles, automotive, and machinery technology. In fact, some manufacturing firms transfer the marketing of their products to separate enterprises specializing in this field, which is a proof of how advanced this domain has become. Moreover, marketing concerns not only manufacturing enterprises but also service-rendering sectors such as banks, insurance agencies, travel businesses, etc.
Additionally, thanks to the university-industry cooperation of Manavgat Vocational School, our students and graduates secure part-time or full-time employment opportunities, primarily within firms operating in Manavgat.
