The first step was taken with the protocol signed between the Rectorate of Akdeniz University and Manavgat Higher Education Scientific and Technological Research Foundation on 18.01.2002. On an area of 18.000 m2, the construction of the Higher School service building, which started in 2002, was completed in 2004. With the appointment of Prof. Dr. Ali ERDOĞAN as the founding director, 4 more academic staff started to work in the School, and education and training started in the 2004-2005 academic year with 40 students each in Tourism and Travel Management and Accounting Programs. In the 2005-2006 academic year, the number of students increased to 263 with the admission of students to the Tourism and Hotel Management, Computer Technology and Programming and Business Administration programs. In the 2009-2010 academic year, the number of students reached 1200 with 6 formal and 4 secondary education programs. Adhering to the principles of the Great Leader Atatürk by adopting a relatively one-to-one education approach, it adopts an education and training policy with a high quality education understanding. Within this framework, it will always continue its forward-looking studies. It is our duty to show our young people all the technological innovations brought by our age without wasting time.
