Description and Objectives of the Program

The primary objective of the Child Development Program is to train qualified professionals who embrace the importance of child development and education, recognize the developmental characteristics of children aged 0-18, possess knowledge regarding their habits and needs, and can take precautionary measures against potential problems children may face. Another objective of the program is to train professionals equipped with contemporary knowledge and skills who can monitor the development in all areas (cognitive, language, motor, social-emotional domains, and self-care skills) and undertake the education of children with special education needs, children in need of protection, and hospitalized children, alongside children showing normal development.

In line with this objective, efforts are made to train "Child Development Professionals" who will deliver services to the child, family, educator, and society within the framework of both a theoretical and practical education program.
